A fast-growing SaaS company is seeking a Contractor for a Software Developer role to help build, enhance, and maintain core features of its cloud-based platform. This individual will play a key role in developing high quality code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to technical decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure software solutions.
About the Opportunity
This individual will help build, enhance, and maintain modern applications that support high-growth technical products serving global users.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver clean, scalable, and secure code within a fast-moving Agile environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain backend or frontend features for a cloud based SaaS platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new product capabilities.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Contribute to code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar.
Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET Core, Django, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
Preferred:
Experience building or maintaining SaaS products.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
